Health Awareness Promotion & Prevention
The Health Awareness Promotion and Prevention Program (HAPP) empowers communities to take charge of their physical and emotional well-being while becoming health advocates. Through case management, outreach, education, and peer support groups, we provide resources and host health awareness clinics to build a healthier, more informed community. We also have our 2nd Tuesday Clinic available each month for free health screenings.

Citizenship
In our citizenship program, we advocate for and assist with filing a variety of immigration forms, including family and fiancée sponsorships, permanent residency applications, and U.S. citizenship applications. Our goal is to make the immigration process smoother and more accessible for everyone.
We have a monthly Citizenship Workshop where you can get assistance with various citizenship questions and problems.
Direct Application Assistance: Work one-on-one with our staff to accurately complete your N-400 application.
Professional Legal Consultations: Meet with experienced legal experts to review your case and answer critical questions about your legal status.
Fee Waivers & Reductions: We evaluate your financial eligibility to see if you qualify to bypass or reduce expensive USCIS filing fees.
Sign up for classes: If additional support is needed, we can sign you up for our citizenship classes, which will help you prepare for the citizenship interview process.
Public Assistance Navigation: Learn how your immigration path connects with other vital resources. Our team helps eligible residents enroll in essential programs, including the ACA Marketplace, Medicaid, CHIP, Harris Health Gold Cards, and Food Stamps (SNAP).
Civic Engagement
Our program focuses on promoting Get Out To Vote (GOTV), which is a nonpartisan initiative designed to boost civic and electoral participation within the AAPI community. Through education, outreach, and mobilization efforts, we empower individuals to understand their voting rights, navigate the electoral process, and make their voices heard. By fostering greater engagement, we aim to strengthen our community’s influence and political knowledge.
