Meet BPSOS-Houston
Boat People SOS (BPSOS) - Houston is a dedicated non-profit organization providing essential social and legal services. Our core purpose is to empower, organize, and equip individuals and families in their pursuit of liberty and dignity.
Our Houston branch specializes in delivering crucial education, comprehensive information, and direct assistance to families facing potential health and legal challenges. We strive to foster resilience and well-being, ensuring that everyone in our community has the resources and support needed to thrive.
Whether it's for health services or a legal problem, we always assess how else we can assist them.
We serve thousands from all walks of life: individuals of diverse races, genders, and social situations, including both English and non-English-speaking individuals. Whenever we aren't able to solve a problem for someone, we often know someone who can. Our clients come to us seeking help, and we commit to doing everything we can to improve their lives and help them keep moving forward.
“I’m going to try and make this place, you know, home. and live among everyone else, and work together to make a better place.”
— Jannette Diep, Executive Director of Boat People SOS Houston
